Attorney Amanda J. Brookhyser is Senior Counsel at the Garg Golden Law Firm. Ms. Brookhyser has significant experience in various arenas of litigation from personal injury litigation, commercial litigation, family law, employment litigation, general civil litigation, and insurance defense.

Ms. Brookhyser has experience with jury trials and has obtained jury verdicts on behalf of defendants and plaintiffs alike. Recently, Ms. Brookhyser was second-chair in a medical malpractice jury trial where she helped secure a $1.8 million verdict on behalf of her clients. Ms. Brookhyser has also participated in several mediations, arbitrations and settlement conferences. She has represented various types of clients from large corporations, healthcare facilities, and large-scale medical providers to individuals. While Ms. Brookhyser is skilled at alternative dispute resolution, she is equally as comfortable in the courtroom and will not hesitate to try a client’s case when warranted. She also has experience in the appeals phase of litigation, handling cases both before the Nevada Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Ms. Brookhyser graduated cum laude from Drake University Law School in 2009. During law school, Ms. Brookhyser was Associate Editor of the Agricultural Law Journal and was awarded the prestigious Jeffrey & Elizabeth Goodman Distinguished Advocate Award. Ms. Brookhyser was born and raised in Las Vegas and decided to come home to practice after law school.

Before joining Garg Golden, Ms. Brookhyser was Senior Associate at a boutique law firm where she practiced in personal injury, commercial litigation, family law and general litigation. Ms. Brookhyser was also a Partner at a National Law Firm where she practiced professional liability defense. Ms. Brookhyser was named by Super Lawyers as a 2020 Mountain States Rising Star. She was named in 2019 to Lawyers of Distinction and was named in 2020 to America’s Top High Stakes Litigators. Ms. Brookhyser has also been rated by Martindale Hubbell as “AV Preeminent,” which is the highest peer review rating measuring both ethics and skill.
